I know that hair is made up of proteins which is why I eat lots of protein based foods however are there more tips to keep it healthy and shiny?
please and thank you.
what i do to keep my hair soft and silky and shiny is to use shampoo as normal, and then use your favorite conditioner, rinse, and then apply it again but in a smaller amount. then, rinse with cold water. trust me, it works! i can’t stop touching my hair now. haha. good luck! (:

I am 5'6 and 200 lbs. I am at my heaviest and I really want to lose weight. I am disgusted by myself. I have a really hard time sticking to a diet. I need some good tips on weight loss and some easy healthy recipes to try.
Try the no-flower, no-sugar diet. Just cut out any food with any kind of flower or sugar listed in the ingredients, including corn syrup. It's much healthier than the Atkins Diet, and if you're really craving carbs, just eat rice or oatmeal. Sugar substitutes are also fine. The diet works quickly, and it's very possible to keep the weight off. When you've reached your goal, just slowly add breads and sugar back in, and keep exercising.

I have real curly frizzy and dry hair. Is there any specific hair products/shampoo and conditioners I should get? Thanks
olive oil….rub it thru your hair and it’s naturally healthy and smooths down the frizz. My grandma has really curly, frizzy, dry hair and she was informed to do that and now her hair is alot healthier. She usually just uses a drop, rubs it thru her hands, and then smoothes it thru her hair like you would do with frizz-ease cream.

Yall are great! Thanks for all the help this is exactly what I was looking for!
Weight watchers Cookbooks are awesome. The recipes do not taste low fat or "diet". Also, you can go to cookinglight.com and check out their recipes (a little more complicated than the Weight Watchers recipes but easily accessible).
Happy cooking!

He’s not terribly picky so luckily I don’t have to worry about that but anything easy and healthy would be great!
Fresh veggies like celery and peanut butter and carrots and ranch dressing. PB and J, cut up chicken, pasta, and a juice box or water!

I decided that my family and I need to start eating healthier. The only problem is I need healthy recipes, healthy snack ideas etc. I, myself, am looking to shed 30 pounds and would like to be my ideal size by summer. Any suggestions or tips would be wonderful? Thanks!!!!
Cook up lots of beans & organic whole brown rice that you can feed off of all week.
I suggest doing some exercises that get the legs moving, such as walking, jogging, running, swimming or bike riding.
These exercises that really get your heart pumping will burn the weight off quickly.
I like push ups, yoga stretches, pull ups, crunches, curl ups, leg stretches, calf raises, and squats as far as being good toning exercises that use no equipment and cost zero money to perform.
I like taking some dumbbells and doing some easy bicep curls, military presses, and lateral raises.
I think diet is important also and try to eat healthy home-cooked meals with lots of vegetables in them.
I try to stay away from the pop and sugar, candy, and fast food.
I try to get a good night's sleep each night.

I'm not a very good cook! I know I have to eat better since I'm pregnant. Anybody have any good suggestions for quick and easy meals?
I absolutely love a yam baked in the oven. I put a little patty of butter in the center and eat it, sorta like a baked potato. SO good, and good for you, too! I eat that and a hard boiled egg and wheat toast with butter and preserves. I know that's a totally weird meal, sorta piecemeal, but all of those things are good for you…
I've found that more important is to get yourself things like WHEAT breads and bread products, fruits and veggies (any veggie steamed is easy and good for you), and milk. I drink 1%, personally.
Oh, and a really tasty and filling breakfast drink: a smoothie! I get frozen fruits (NOT in syrup or sweetened!), vanilla yogurt, honey, and orange juice, and make myself a quick smoothie in the morning. Very tasty and relatively quick.
I also throw a little bit of ground flaxseed in my cereal. Makes me feel like I'm getting a little extra goodness…
